Buena Vista Trustees to Consider Intergovernmental Agreement to Create a Collective SWAT Team

Buena Vista Trustees will conduct a regular meeting tonight, Sep. 26th, beginning at 7pm. 

Trustees will consider an intergovernmental agreement with Chaffee County, the City of Salida and the Town of Buena Vista for a Collective Special Weapons and Tactics Team and will vote on amending the municipal code related to trees on public property. 

Trustees will also receive an update from Public Works Director Shawn Williams on the Elk Run Major Subdivision Water supply Protection District application. 

A work session will precede the regular meeting at 6 pm. The topic of discussion will be the 2024 budget preview and department priorities.
