The planned maintenance project for the Pocket Wave in Buena Vista’s whitewater park has been delayed. Originally scheduled to begin this month, the project has been postponed due to delays faced by the contractor on other projects.
Buena Vista Parks and Recreation cited the unpredictable water levels and a limited permit window as additional factors contributing to the postponement. The Town of Buena Vista is currently working on revising the timeline to accommodate these challenges and ensure the maintenance can be completed as soon as possible.
