Yesterday was Election Day in Buena Vista and Poncha Springs.
In Buena Vista, six candidates were running for four open trustee seats. The top three candidates receive a four-year term, the candidate with the fourth highest vote total receives a two-year term.
The top three were Andrew Rice, Micha Rosenoer, and Devin Rowe. Winning the two-year term was Maggie Huyck.

Poncha Springs Mayor Ben Scanga ran for re-election unopposed.
Both Buena Vista and Poncha Springs had the question of moving the municipal election from April to November to coincide with the county election. Buena Vista voters approved that question 355 to 244. Poncha Springs approved moving the municipal election to November with a vote of 192 to 64.
