A blast of late summer heat is hitting Colorado. Really hot weather is back with more hazy skies due to smoke blowing in from Idaho.

Record high temperatures are likely to be tied or broken today in Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Denver.

This afternoon will bring the risk of heat stroke. Take frequent breaks and drink plenty of water if you have outdoor work or a hike planned.

Tomorrow will be on of the hottest days of the week, and a day where once again will likely break heat records.
