The Bureau of Reclamation has announced an additional $250 million in funding for the Arkansas Valley Conduit Project, courtesy of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The 130-mile pipeline will deliver fresh water to thousands of residents east of Pueblo. Initially approved by Congress in 1962 as part of the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project, the conduit faced delays due to lack of funding.
