Highway 50 closures start today between Gunnison and Montrose.
Closures will affect the Little Blue Creek Canyon area just east of Blue Mesa Reservoir. For real time road conditions, including closures, go to cotrip.org.
The Colorado Department of Transportation continues resurfacing work on a 10-mile stretch of Highway 50 between Coaldale and Texas Creek. Expect one-lane alternating traffic, width restrictions, and reduced speeds.
Chaffee County Road and Bridge will be closing County Road 210 south of County Road 214 on Monday and Tuesday of next week for culvert replacements.
No traffic, including bike and pedestrian, will be allowed from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm each day.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee.
