The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin chip sealing Highway 285 today between Monte Vista and Saguache. The project is expected to last until September.
Expect delays of up to 15 minutes.
CDOT continues bridge replacement work on Highway 285 between Fairplay and Antero Junction. Work will require a three-month full closure of U.S. 285 between Colorado 9 and Highway 24 beginning July 11 and will remain closed until mid-October.
Improvements to Colorado Highway 96 in Custer County continue. The resurfacing project will improve 26 miles of CO 96 from Westcliffe to Wetmore and is expected to be completed in November.
Motorists should allow for travel delays of up to 15 minutes.
Motorists should also expect delays on Highway 24 from Woodland Park to Colorado Springs. Paving operations will reduce the highway to one-lane alternating traffic.
