Bare grocery store shelves may have you feeling a little uneasy, but there’s some reassurance coming from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
They are ensuring that food production and supply systems nationwide remain safe and abundant.
Colorado Commissioner of Agriculture Kate Greenburg says, “People across Colorado can rest assured that our state’s food supply systems are operating as intended: To provide safe food for the public.”
The problem with the bare shelves is getting the food and supplies (and Toilet Paper) here fast enough and being able to stock the shelves before the next wave of panic buying begins. Many grocery stores are hiring workers to keep up with demand.
