In a rare matchup, the Salida boys headed down to Mosca, Colorado to do battle with the Thunderbirds of Sangre de Cristo.
The game started out with the Thunderbirds going on a run, and while Salida would fight back and at one point take the lead, the slow start would doom them in a 68-63 loss.
