It was a crazy double header down in the Springs last Friday night.
The Salida girls basketball team didn’t play to their record, as they scared the Coursers of Vanguard in a game that wasn’t over until the final minutes, with Vanguard escaping with a 47-37 win.
In the boys game, it was the Dominique Clifford show, as the CU commit put up 41 points, pulled down 19 rebounds and nearly registered a triple double against the Spartans who put up a valiant fight but would fall short 83-55.
