Law enforcement in Mississippi has arrested two persons of interest connected to a homicide investigation in Park County, Colorado.
Johnny Morris, 46, and Hailey Cole, 43, are in custody in Mississippi on local charges, including burglary. Authorities linked the pair to a vehicle found near the scene of a welfare check call on Christmas Eve, where Park County deputies discovered a 65-year-old man deceased in his home near Hartsel.
While Morris and Cole are in custody, the investigation continues, including the search for 37-year-old Stephen Walker, who has been missing under suspicious circumstances. Walker was last seen in El Paso County following a December 19th incident at the sober living home where he resided. Authorities responding to the scene found a significant amount of blood throughout the residence.
The investigation spans multiple jurisdictions, and law enforcement urges anyone with information about Stephen Walker’s whereabouts to come forward.
