Birders and nature enthusiasts of all skill levels and ages are invited to take part in Audubon’s annual Christmas Bird Count, the longest-running wintertime tradition in the Western Hemisphere.
This year’s event at Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve will take place tomorrow starting at 7:45 AM.
To participate, volunteers must register as park volunteers by calling 719-378-6363. Registered participants will receive a waiver for the park entrance fee on the day of the event.
