Fairplay was busy over the weekend, playing host to over 700 holiday travelers that were stranded due to blowing snow and white out conditions.
Highway 285 and Kenosha Pass was closed much of the weekend because of the blizzard conditions.
Those stranded were housed at the South Park School complex and the Jefferson-Como Fire Station.
Park County Schools in Fairplay will be on a two-hour delay today.
Doors at the school will open at 9:20 am and classes begin at 9:52 am. No breakfast will be served.
School officials are also asking for volunteers to help shovel snow at 8 am.
