Authorities intercepted a suspicious package yesterday addressed to the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office. The package, which contained a white powder, was sent with the return address of “U.S. Traitor Elimination Army.”
A preliminary investigation determined that the powder was harmless, though officials have not disclosed its exact nature. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Postal Service, and Colorado State Patrol are currently investigating the incident.
This package is part of a larger wave of suspicious deliveries sent to secretaries of state in at least 17 states over the past week, raising concerns about coordinated threats against state election officials. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to determine the source and motive behind the packages.
