The Salida SteamPlant will screen the documentary film “Mirasol: Looking at the Sun” tomorrow night at 6:30pm. This film highlights the values embodied in the small farming community of St. Charles Mesa in the Arkansas River Valley, best known for its Pueblo chilies. It reveals that, despite having the most fertile ground in the region, the community faces increasing threats to their livelihoods due to water issues.
