On November 7th, Salida voters will elect a Mayor, three City Council members and a Treasurer.
The mayor’s position is for a two-year term and the council and treasurer positions are for four-year terms.
A candidate must be nominated by a petition signed by at least 25 registered voters. The petitioning process begins Tuesday, Aug. 8th. Only petitions obtained from the City Clerk’s office may be circulated.
