An intersection improvement project is underway at the US 285/Colorado 9 intersection on the southside of Fairplay.
The project involves road widening to accommodate additional traffic lanes, new signals, sidewalks, and to replace the obsolete Middle Fork bridge on 285, just south of the intersection.
One lane alternating traffic can be expected with delays of up to 10 minutes.
