One person is dead, two others were injured in a crash in Chaffee County over the weekend.
The Colorado State Patrol says the three-car crash happened Saturday night on Highway 24 near Buena Vista.
Officials say the two people injured were taken to the hospital where their condition is unknown.
The driver that caused the crash was a 22-year-old man from Steamboat Springs. State Patrol looked into whether speed, alcohol, or drugs were factors in the crash, but did not find any indication that was the case.
The investigation is ongoing.
