The Salida School Board has voted to approve a revised recommendation from Superintendent David Blackburn concerning Principal Talmage Truillo.
Cory Scheffel will assume the role of interim principal at Salida High School for the remainder of the school year.
Darcy Harris will take over Scheffel’s position as interim dean at the high school.
Trujillo remains on paid administrative leave.
Trujillo was charged with misdemeanor charges of harboring a minor and obstructing an officer during a September 23rd lockdown at the school.
The Salida principal was arrested for a second time on a felony charge of tampering with evidence after allegedly erasing his phone in front of police after being served with a search warrant.
His trial is expected to take place in August.
