Over 200 New COVID-19 Cases in the Past Two Weeks in Chaffee County

Chaffee County Public Health is reporting 93 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 7 days, and 231 in the last 14 days. According to the CDC, Chaffee County has a 10% positivity rate.

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is currently at 68% capacity with four patients hospitalized due to COVID-19. Due to increased Covid-19 cases in Chaffee County, Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center has implemented several restrictive measures. 

So far, the state of Colorado has recorded 1.2 million COVID-19 cases with 11,808 confirmed deaths.
