An Arctic air mass will move into the area tonight and will last until Friday. This system will bring unseasonably cold air, along with locally heavy snowfall. Up to 10 inches of new snow will be possible. Travel will become difficult.

Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 51. Look for an overnight low of 21.

The San Luis Valley will see a high of 43, a low of 11.

Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 37 with a low of 7.
