A man has been arrested in connection to a deadly November crash on Highway 9 in Park County.
The Colorado State Patrol announced yesterday the arrest of Juan Huante Juarez of Colorado Springs for the November 9th crash that left a 3-year-old dead and several people injured.
The crash occurred on Highway 9 near Alma when the State Patrol says Juarez passed several vehicles in a no passing zone and crashed head on with another vehicle.
The driver of that vehicle was a 42-year-old woman from Breckenridge who was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Three juveniles were also in the car—a 5-year-old, 3-year-old and a 1-year-old. The 3-year-old later died from their injuries.
Juarez was charged with a long list of offenses including vehicular assault, child abuse and murder in the first degree.
