The Chaffee County Planning Commission public hearing for Aspire Tours land-use change was continued yet again yesterday.

The continuance was due to a late submission of information from Kathrin Troxler, the applicant for the proposed business operation on rural-zoned land along the Arkansas River off County Road 190W in Salida.

The hearing will be reconvened November 30 with the expectation that it will continue through the following Planning Commission meeting on December 7.

Chaffee County Planning Manager Jon Roorda said staff received “updated information from the applicant late last week” and that information has not yet been posted for the public or provided to the Planning Commission.

Planning Commission Chair Anderson Horne said he thinks everyone involved will be better served by continuing the hearing, and Roorda agreed.
