Buena Vista Schools start a new school year today with in-person learning.
The district has implemented several measures to combat Covid-19. Students will be screened for symptoms as they enter the school. Masks will be worn by students and staff.
Buses are running, but parents are being asked to transport their kids if possible.
The Buena Vista School District has also hired additional janitorial staff to keep surfaces sanitized.
Portable air purifying systems and ultraviolet light units are also being utilized.
