Construction season has arrived for 2022 roadway and utility capital improvements across Salida.
Roadway reconstruction of 12th Street has initiated near J Street. This work will take several months to complete as work progresses east to New Street.
Street reconstruction of 10th Street from J Street to D Street is scheduled to occur this summer. Milling and overlay work along with chip sealing at various other locations is anticipated to occur during this time.
Each of these projects are expected to have periodic closures and detours established throughout the
course of construction with limited access to local traffic.
We look forward to improving our City streetscapes with the completion of these projects.
