An 18-year-old Cotopaxi teen died Tuesday in an accident involving two vehicles on Highway 50 near Howard.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident involved a Chevy Silverado and Ford F150. Fremont County Coroner Randy Keller identified the driver of the Chevy as Shane Semer of Howard, who was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
