The Buena Vista Board of Trustees will conduct a regular meeting tonight at the BV Community Center beginning at 7 pm.
Under business items, trustees will hold a public hearing to consider a retail liquor permit for Hi-Lonesome Boutique at 505 East Main, will review the fee reduction policy for facility rentals and special events for Chaffee County based non-profits and will consider authorizing the execution of a contract agreement with the Upper Arkansas Water Conservancy District to purchase 50-acre feet of water.
Trustees will also vote on a resolution approving the public works, airport, and police departments to purchase vehicles and equipment for the 2024 calendar year.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
