Critical fire weather conditions will increase again this week. Thursday will be the most concerning high fire danger day as gusty winds increase ahead of another storm system.
Isolated afternoon thunderstorms will be possible today and tomorrow.
An approaching cold front will bring colder air and a chance of snow on Friday.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 83. Look for an overnight low of 49.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 71, a low of 41.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 63 with a low of 33.
