It has been three months since Suzanne Morphew was reported missing in Chaffee County.

Yesterday, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation spent the better part of the day distributing more missing person flyers to Chaffee County residents and businesses.

In the last three months, investigators have followed up on hundreds of tips and conducted countless interviews in an effort to locate Ms. Morphew.

Chaffee County Sheriff John Spezze says the case remains active, as investigators continue to work the case daily.  Spezze said, “Until we determine what happened to Suzanne, we can not discount any scenario or formally eliminate anyone from suspicion.”

Suzanne Morphew was reported missing on May 10th.  Authorities have said she left for a bike ride and never returned.  Since then, the sheriff’s office conducted searches that included tracking dogs, water rescue teams and tactical mountain rescuers.  Just days after her disappearance, law enforcement searched an area near Maysville along Highway 50 after finding what was believed to be a personal item of Morphew’s.  They have also conducted and extensive search of Morphew’s home and on residential property on the east side of Salida.

The public is asked to continue to report any information about this case by calling 719-312-7530.
