Elevated fire weather conditions due to dry conditions, gusty winds and above seasonal temperatures will continue through the weekend.
The Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service have both issued Stage II Fire Restrictions for all BLM and Forest Service administered lands in Lake, Chaffee, Custer, and Fremont counties and Saguache County east of Highway 285.
Chaffee County remains under Stage II Fire Restrictions as well. Stage II Fire Restrictions prohibit ALL open fires, including charcoal fires. The only devices allowed are those whose flame is controlled by a valve.

His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
