Friends and family of Mohan and Buck Shacklett have planned a memorial service on March 25, 2023 from 1 to 4 pm in the Auditorium at Salida High School.
The family has asked that people bring photos, stories to share, and an instrument if inspired. After the ceremony at SHS, there will be a gathering at Woods Distillery to share food and music, and instruments are again encouraged to celebrate Mo’s enjoyment of sharing music with the community.

(Please note that food, drink, and candles/open flame of any kind are not allowed in the SHS auditorium.)
The family has set up a GoFundMe link to help with the unexpected burial expenses.
Salida Schools will continue to have counselors on hand to support students and staff as needed. Salida High School will have counseling support in the high school during spring break on Tuesday, March 21 and Thursday, March 23 from 1:00- 3:00 p.m.
