The Colorado Secretary of State is warning business owners of a new scam.
An alert has been issued to business owners about misleading notices requesting a fee for a third party to file business documents.
These notices look similar to a government form and contain your businesses’ actual business ID.
The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office does not send these types of solicitations. The office uses an online system for businesses and use of a third party to complete forms is not required.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
