Expect the haze from the wildfires to slowly leave our area today as sunny skies and winds out of the west should help to clear them out. A slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms also hangs around through the afternoon.
In the valleys, highs today will peak out at 81 before dropping down to 49 overnight.
In the high country, highs of 63 will drop to 35 tonight underneath mostly clear skies.
