Deion Sanders’ first spring game as head coach for the University of Colorado will air on ESPN’s main channel.
The game is scheduled for April 22nd at 1 pm and will be the only spring game to air on the main ESPN network this year.
With 35,000 tickets already sold, it will be the highest attended spring game in CU history. At max capacity, Folsom Field can hold 50,000 fans.
General admission tickets are still available for $10.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas.
Dan attended Arkansas State University from 1978 to 1982--where he picked up the name "Dan R" after his fraternity brothers couldn’t pronounce his last name. He lived in Jonesboro for 10 years working in radio and as a TV weatherman. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
