Pet of the Week: Zorro

Meet Zorro! He is the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pet of the Week!

Zorro is a 12 year old male Domestic Shorthair mix. He came to the shelter when his older owner could no longer take care of him. Her daughter helped get Zorro to us in the hopes that he would find a new forever home. He’s been with us for almost a month now with no interest, so we’re hopeful that you can help him find a home! Zorro is declawed so will need to be an indoor only cat. He is in a foster home now where he is slowly warming up to the other male cat there. If interested in learning more about Zorro head over to ark-valley.org!

All adoptable animals receive the following services prior to adoption:

  • Spay or Neuter
  • Age-appropriate boosters
  • De-wormer
  • Vaccines
  • Microchip

Because Zorro is the Pet of the Week, her adoption fees are 50% off (Adoption fees vary by age and animal). Visit the Ark Valley Humane Society’s website to learn more.

The Ark Valley Humane Society is open and available by appointment only, make sure to call 719-395-2737 and schedule an appointment before coming to the shelter! If you or someone you know is in need of pet food, we have community pet food available! Just call us to arrange a contactless pick up!
