Meet Gaia! She is the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pets of the Week!
Gaia is a 10 year old female Domestic shorthair mix who has been with the shelter since April. Luckily she’s been spending the majority of her time in a warm and loving foster home who dotes on her everyday. They said Gaia is the perfect mix of independent and snuggly, she will cuddle up on their laps in the evening to receive love and is then equally as happy to do her own thing during the day and be independent. Since Gaia is a senior cat she is priceless, no adoption fees!
All adoptable animals receive the following services prior to adoption:
- Spay or Neuter
- Age-appropriate boosters
- De-wormer
- Vaccines
- Microchip
The Ark Valley Humane Society is open and available by appointment only, make sure to call 719-395-2737 and schedule an appointment before coming to the shelter! If you or someone you know is in need of pet food, we have community pet food available! Just call us to arrange a contactless pick up!
Fosters Needed
