Join Dan R and Heart of the Rockies Radio for the Salida Sunrise Rotary Club’s Lucky Ducky race today at Frantz Lake.
Starting at 11 am, up to 3,500 rubber ducks will be let loose on the lake that could earn you $1,500 if your duck is the first to cross the finish line. Second place will pay $1,000, and $500 for third. Other prizes valued at over $4,000 will be awarded for fourth through 17th place.
You may be asking yourself, “How do ducks race on a lake?” With the gracious help of the Salida Fire Department!
Lucky Duck tickets will be available at the race for $10 each.
