Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected again today.
The primary risk will be flash flooding over and near the Decker, Hayden Pass, Junkins and Spring burn scars as well as the Chalk Cliffs. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for these areas through tomorrow. The ground in burn scar areas is unstable producing debris flows and mudslides.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 77, an overnight low of 51.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 73, a low of 51.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 69, a low of 41.
