Lake County Panthers earn 6th for girls, 9th place finish for boys on the slopes

The 2020 Colorado State Skiing Championships were held this past weekend and the Lake County Panthers did well on the slopes, taking sixth place as a team, and seeing two individuals take top 10 spots in their events.

Giant Slalom

  • Taylor Duel – 10th
  • Lanee Dziura – 22nd
  • Gwen Ramsey – 35th
  • Rowynn Slivka – 50th
  • Cassidy Gillis – 57th

Slalom

  • Lanee Dziura – 25th
  • Taylor Duel – 29th
  • Rowynn Slivka – 44th
  • Gwen Ramsey – 53rd
  • Cassidy Gillis – 67th

Classic Nordic

  • Adele Horning – 9th
  • Elona Greene – 15th
  • Micheala Main – 35th
  • Morgan Holm – 59th
  • Abby Holm – 63rd

Nordic Skate

  • Elona Greene – 16th
  • Micheala Main – 23rd
  • Abby Holm – 44th
  • Morgan Holm – 52nd
  • Adele Horning – DNS

In the boys races, the Panthers didn’t do as well, but still saw good showings!
