Commissioner Greg Felt Appointed to the Colorado Water Conservation Board

Chaffee County Commissioner Greg Felt has been appointed to the Colorado Water Conservation board by Governor Jared Polis. 

The Colorado Water Conservation Board was created in 1937 for the purpose of aiding in the protection and development of the waters of the state. The agency is responsible for water project planning and finance, stream and lake protection, flood hazard identification and mitigation, weather modification, river restoration, and water supply protection. 

Felt will serve as a representative from the Arkansas Drainage Basin. His term ends in February 2023.
