The Chaffee Housing Authority invited to public to save the date of September 22nd for their first ever annual housing celebration.
The event will be hosted by the Chaffee Housing Board of Directors at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds Event Center. The event is meant to highlight the collective efforts being made across Chaffee County to address the housing crisis.
Information on how to register for the event will be shared closer to the event, but for now, Chaffee Housing asks the public to save the date for the celebration.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas.
Dan attended Arkansas State University from 1978 to 1982--where he picked up the name "Dan R" after his fraternity brothers couldn’t pronounce his last name. He lived in Jonesboro for 10 years working in radio and as a TV weatherman. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
