Buena Vista Parks and Recreation is sponsoring the Demon Diggers Youth Volleyball program.
The coed volleyball program consists of camp-style practices led by Buena Vista High School coaches and players. The focus will be to teach fundamental volleyball skills in a fun environment. The program is open to grades 3 through 8 and begins February 23rd.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas.
Dan attended Arkansas State University from 1978 to 1982--where he picked up the name "Dan R" after his fraternity brothers couldn’t pronounce his last name. He lived in Jonesboro for 10 years working in radio and as a TV weatherman. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
