A Message From Monarch Mountain General Manager Randy Stroud.

Dear Friends,

Last night at approximately 9 pm Governor Polis served an Executive Order suspending all activities at all Ski Resorts in Colorado.  His suspension will last through March 22^nd.  At that time he will reassess the situation.  This decision came upon us rapidly, late in the evening, and without forewarning.   We are putting together information on our website that hopefully answers all the questions you may have regarding where we go from here.

Give us today to formulate a comprehensive FAQs section on our site. Hopefully this will answer all your concerns regarding refunds and exchanges.  In the meantime please call our reservations hotline for more information at 719.530.5196.  Should you be able to only leave a message, we promise to contact you as soon as humanly possible.

This has been an extraordinary season for us at Monarch.  We have enjoyed every moment with you and can’t wait to get back at it next season.  Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.  Stay safe, wash your hands, and continue to enjoy the great outdoors.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
