The 23rd Annual Brewers Rendezvous takes place Saturday at Riverside Park beginning at 1 pm.
The event will feature more than 75 breweries offering samples of some 300 beers. Live music and food vendors will be on site.
Tickets are $50, $15 for designated drivers. Discounted locals tickets are available today only at the Salida Chamber of Commerce office of Highway 50 next to the aquatic center.
The 2nd annual Brewers Rendezvous Pre-Vous is tonight at the Rotary Scout Hut from 6 to 8 pm.
The evening will offer 20 breweries offering beer that will not be available tomorrow. Appetizers will be served. Tickets are $40 and available online atsalidachamber.org.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
